- LES PHILIPPINES HOLDS MUSIC LICENSING MINI-SEMINAR
Before a house full of approximately 60 attendees consisting of lawyers and representatives of industries/businesses, LES Philippines held its Music Licensing Mini-Seminar last August 26, 2010 from 2:00-5:30 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Penthouse of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines' ("IPO") building. LES Philippines is the local Society of LES International, a worldwide federation of professionals involved in the transfer of technology, industrial and intellectual property rights. |
The primary objective of LES Philippines is to promote and maintain high standards of competence and professionalism among individuals engaged in the licensing and transfer of technology, industrial and intellectual property rights.

It is composed of professionals from different backgrounds who are engaged in the licensing of intellectual property rights. Joining LES Philippines is an excellent opportunity to network and establish contacts with professionals who are at the forefront in the field of licensing.

LES Philippines, with the help of LES International, provides a forum for the exchange of ideas in the field of licensing and technology transfer. Members receive the quarterly journal Les Nouvelles, which contains articles on licensing as practiced in different countries.

One of the benefits of joining LES Philippines is the opportunity to participate in the international conferences of LES International. During these meetings, the latest trends in licensing throughout the world are presented in various panel discussions and workshops.
